Starting the year with a family concert in Warkworth, the orchestra will then make its first visit to Helensville in August. Plans for a concert there last year were stymied by the discovery of asbestos at the War Memorial Hall, necessitating more extended renovations than planned.
The programme for the Auckland Heritage Festival concert in September is in development. Details will be revealed in a few weeks.
The season ends in November with a programme of musical mysteries, misattributions, misapprehensions, and humour.
